Thursday 5.. 2 in a row!

 Yes I know, you're all shocked to see a Thursday 5 two weeks in a row! Not to mention a couple other posts in between. I'm working on gettin' my groove back people! Back to the point. Again, my favorite link up to one of my fav blogs! Go check out Nicole at Flip Flops and Combat Boots! While you're there go ahead and grab yo self this weeks words and link up! OutstandingRefreshingCheerful Memorable Cool 1) I had the most Outstanding weekend with all the guys this past weekend. I was pretty much the Mardi Gras princess in the group.  2) This weekend, we literally have NO plans other than my 6 hour shift on Saturday. I must say that after last weekend's ridiculousness, it's pretty Refreshing. I plan on getting a little extra sleep, cleaning, and finally getting to church on Sunday! 3) We've actually had kind of a tough week. Both of us were "sick" of some sort and we got more bad news today from the Active Duty recruiter. We're both trying our best to count our many blessings and stay Cheerful in spite of the bad news. Prayers are appreciated as we continue to hit our knees and pray for God to give us His direction. 4) Ok, this is a little silly, but does anyone else watch The Big Bang Theory on CBS? We're a little obsessed with it, and tonight's episode was definitely a Memorable one! I mean seriously, Sheldon playing the bongos?!? And his haircut.. I was dying!! 5) Tomorrow I'm subbing up at high school. Luckily it's all seniors and they're surprisingly small classes, but it never fails to make me laugh at how Cool high school kids think they are! Especially the older they get.. by Senior year, they think they rule the school. I can only hope I don't seem like such a snob when I was in high school! Happy Thursday y'all! We're less than 2 hours from Friday now.. YAY weekend!

1) I am beyond Blessed by all of God's gifts. A wonderful, loving husband, sweet puppy, supportive family, great friends, house, job, food, I could go on all day! I find myself constantly taking moments to pray and say thanks often these days.  2) I am Delighted that the recruiter called two nights ago and it finally feels like we're actually making head way on this transition! Hoping to have orders, or at least a good idea of where/when we're moving, by the end of next month! 3) We had an absolutely Joyous Valentine's Day and I am thankful we were able to spend it together this year! :) 4) This weekend (barring any rain) we're headed to Mobile on Saturday with some good friends to enjoy the Mardi Gras festivities! I am beyond Cheerful to celebrate this weekend!!!! 5) With so much to look forward to going on this week, I've been in an exceptionally Jolly mood this week and I have to say I am thoroughly enjoying it! Thursday 5.. Finally!

Well it only took me 6 weeks to get back to normal, but I finally did it! So on with one of my favorite weekly link ups, Thursday 5! Is it just me or is this week dragging on? I feel like I've gone through 5 Thursdays already this week! But alas.. here it is!

1) Last night was so Nice! We were finally able to relax. We went to Ollie's (a Milton favorite) with Mixson when they got off work. It was my first Ollie's experience and I have to see it was pretty good! We will be going back I'm sure. After dinner I did a little unpacking then we just hung out and looked for furniture online.

 

2) Our July schedule came out at work, and I somehow managed to get the ideal schedule for 4th of July! I'm pretty excited about that! We haven't made plans yet because we were waiting on my schedule, but now we will be! I'm the 3rd, 4th, and don't go in until noon on the 5th! Hello 4th of July celebrating!

 

3) I'm off ALL weekend this weekend! I plan on making it an Enjoyable one! I'm cooking dinner tomorrow night and my sweet friend Whitney is coming over to eat and bringing her beautiful baby! I'm so excited. I finally unpacked all my wedding gifts and it's been so much fun to cook with them!

 

4) Just going to put it out there that the cost of moving is Outrageous!!! All the utility companies and their "connect/disconnect" fees and what not.. It's all a crock if you ask me! But I suppose that no one did..

5) My sweet baby boy, Natty has been so Lovable since we moved. I think he's still adjusting to the new house and has been wearing himself out playing in his new big yard so at night and in the morning he's just been a love bug!

1) We went to see Disney on Ice tonight with my wonderful cousins and the show was Dazzling!! We had such a good time, and the best part was playing with sweet baby boy Trae! He is such a little doll! He definitley keeps us all entertained!

 2) (Other than this morning) The weather has been Spectacular!! Warm and sunny, but thankfully not too hot and humid yet! 3) I finished ALL of my undergrad assignments as of yesterday and it feels Terrific!! Just my finals now and I'm FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! 4) Tonight, I get off work at 5 and I don't have to work anywhere else! :) Perfect night at home with my almost hubby is what we have planned! I'm cooking a yummy dinner and then we'll watch a movie.. can't wait for quittin' time tonight! :) 5) Today OFFICIALLY marks exactly ONE month til our wedding!!! Words can't describe how ECSTATIC I am!!!!!  I know my Thursday 5 seems pretty redundant the last few weeks, but I promise my life will change soon! After next week, no more school!! So I'll be working full time and hopefully have more interesting things to talk about. And in just a month we'll be married so no more wedding talk, just newlywed stories! Bear with them.. I'm in the middle of some HUGE changes, but I'll be more interesting soon I promise!!  Happy Thursday y'all! :)

1) Tonight I copied my mom and made one of Stephen's favorite dinners. Pork tenderloin, fried(mexican lol) rice, and green beans. It was Delicious! So glad my mama's such a good cook!

2) I had a very Exciting job interview the other day and I feel like it went very well! Still praying it works out and hoping to hear back very soon! :)

3) The weather here has been Awesome!! So warm during the day for getting tan, but cool at night. Stephen and I actually ate our dinner outside on our balcony tonight.. soooo relaxing!

4) Graduation is just over two weeks away now! It's so Rewarding now to look at a class syllabus and see that everything is done but taking finals! Oh how I will NOT miss undergrad!

5) Got a phone call tonight from Trae baby.. he's little voice is too cute! He's growing up so fast and these little moments are Priceless!! It's so funny to see how much he's grown up already! :)
   isn't he a doll?! I just love him to pieces!

It's been a wonderful week and I can't believe it's already Thursday!! Long weekend ahead working for my dad at the jazz festival in panama city, I will be sure to take pictures and will try to post again when I get a chance.

Thursday five... Wait Thursday already?!?!?!

Yup, believe it or not it's already Thursday! I'm not entirely sure where the weeks keep going! But I'm not really complaining! I love weekends(well the weekends that Stephen is off!) because we can stay up past 10 pm, go to the beach, and just enjoy hanging out together! I also love that now I only have THREE more weeks of school left til graduation.. that's just CRAZY! It also means we're at the 6 week mark on the wedding countdown! WHOA!(In fact, we're coming up on the first anniversary of our engagement :))
But I digress, back to my original reason for this post, it's that time of the week again! One of my favorite link ups, it's time for my Thursday 5! I love linking up to this creative post by Flip Flops and Combat Boots, so you should get creative, grab the words and the button and link up too!

This week has a fun little twist. Nicole chose to use Boston slang words. I had to laugh when I read them. Being that I'm from the deep south and most of these words I've never used in my life, this one may prove a little tricky! But here goes nothing!

Wicked (definition: very)

Pissa (definition: cool, good)

Fresh (definition: describes any undesired behavior)
Wicked Pissa (definition: something is so cool there's no words to describe it)

1) As I posted above, I am Wicked excited about the next several weeks! Time is flying and there is so much to countdown right now!

2) Some of the most Mint people ever are throwing my bridal shower on Saturday and I'm beyond excited! :)

3) After many missed dates, I will finally be hanging out with my long lost friend, Scotti tonight. I'm thinking that making a Pissa dinner here at the house and having some wine will make for a relaxing evening! (Orrrr maybe 99cent margarita night at los rancheros.. ya never know! ;))

4) So my apartment complex managers thought it would be a good idea to resurface our balcony ceilings. I think this idea is more Fresh than anything and it is really getting on my nerves!

5) So I just wanted to say this morning that my mom is Wicked Pissa!!! She always has been, but she's been super incredible with all this wedding stuff! Seriously, without her nothing would be done! She text me this morning to let me know the wedding invitations went out today.. Eeeeeekk! I can't wait til people start getting them and we start getting our RSVPs back!!! :D

**Side note: I'm laughing because when I link up and Nicole, or anyone else actually familiar with Boston slang will probably laugh at my ridiculous attempt at the words! They were amusing if nothing else! :)

I know I post about wedding stuff all the time(and i'm sure that gets a little old!), but I rarely post about the real reason for the day. I'm beyond ecstatic to be marrying my BEST friend! Seriously, he makes me laugh like no one else, and he laughs at how truly goofy I am. He's one of the few people I feel so comfortable letting my guard down completely with and just being the complete goober that I am. I love that we both love cooking dinner at home, then spending the rest of the night on the couch watching movies or jeopardy because we're both big dorks! :) He really is my other half and I'm SO thankful to have him! :D

Ok enough being mushy for today! Time to go get something done.. remember it's Thursday only one more day to the weekend.. so smile!!

1) I made homemade stuffed pasta shells tonight and baked a cake. My mom came over to eat with us! My dad was supposed to come too, buuuuut he gets lazy at night. Never the less, we had a very Delightful time! We ate then watched two movies. It was the first time Mom saw Date Night and The Hangover. Laughed so hard my sides hurt! :)

 

2) I finished my LAST PR project today and that makes me VERY Happy!!! :) I have one more little interview tomorrow then it's smooth sailing to graduation. I still have other classes but they're not hard, so i'm pretty ecstatic!

 

3) Stephen has UTA weekend this weekend which makes me sad. It's a super UTA which means he'll be out at the base for 4 full days, BUT he has a job interview in the morning which is Superb! I'm really hoping he gets that and can keep the AF just to reservist weekends for now, we would be set for a while. But if not, he starts work at seasoning training on Tuesday, which is also superb because either way it's back to work for him! (Although I will miss coming home to a cleaned house everyday!)

 

4) Hmm..  this is a fun word this week, check out these Gorgeous invitations that my friend Jen from Gaboodles, Ink made for my bridal shower next weekend! Go check out her awesome site, you'll find something you have to have!

 

Besides my fun invitations, the weather here has been Gorgeous!!! (Well, minus this morning, but it cleared up!) It's beach time again!

5) My sweet man bought me roses yesterday just because he knew I was stressed out and having a long week. Talk about feeling Loved!! That boy sure does know how to make me smile!! And only 51 days til he's mine all mine forever!!

Thursday already?!?!

Ahhh alas, It's Thursday! You know what that means! One of my favorite weekly linkups! The Thursday 5

1) Our premartial counseling on Tuesday night, was Outstanding! We had a wonderful talk with our Pastor, and left feeling more confident about our upcoming marriage. We were already sure we were ready, but he had us take one of those compatibility surveys, and to no surprise we killed it! :) (Not that we needed a survey to tell us that!)

 

2) This is one of my favorite words.. I'm SO Proud of my wonderful fiance! He worked so hard through BMT/ tech school! I don't think he'll ever truly understand exactly how PROUD I am of him for going through all that! He is amazing! He's working hard now to make our lives better. Between jobs, plans, and being so helpful, he is amazing! Even though he hasn't been able to start work yet, he cleans the house everyday and helps with any errands I ask him to do to make my life easier while i'm in the middle of all this juggling! I love him more than words could ever say..as corny as it is, he makes my heart feel full. I'm the happiest when I'm just hanging out with him and our puppy dog, Natty!

On a side note, there are two other people I'm very PROUD of too! My awesome baby sister, for being so brave! I think it's awesome that she had the courage to go away to school and she's really doing so well! I'm also very very proud of my sweet cousin! She is such a good mom and I know she's had to grow up faster than everyone else, but she's done it well. It's not always easy but she doesn't give up! I love both of you girls SO much!

 

3) I have two *MAJOR* projects both due next week which stresses me out immensely. Normally, I put these things off to the last minute, but to my surprise I'm welllll ahead of the curve! I'm almost done with not one, but both of the projects! Thinking about being finished early and not stressing the night before has left me feeling very Energized! Maybe I will survive the last little bit of college!

 

4) Speaking of college, I'm in my last month! This news is simply splendid!! Now to find a full time job so all this time in school will finally pay off. It will be so nice not to be juggling so many schedules! I'm not sure what I'll do! (I'm sure I'll think of something! ;))

 

5) I'm so excited! Some of my mom's wonderful friends from high school are throwing me a bridal shower! 2 weeks from now the wedding festivities really get started! I knew it was getting closer, but now it all seems even more real! I'm just so blessed with all the wonderful people in my life! We wouldn't be where without them! i'm so grateful for mom's amazingly thoughtful friends throwing my shower!! :D

Thursday 5

Yay! Thursday! Which, yes, today means it's St. Patrick's Day.(Happy green beer day to all!) But it's also one of my favorite link up days! Go Join Flip Flops and Combat Boots for the Thursday 5! :)

1) Today I am very Upbeat about the bike ride we got to take last night! The weather here has been gorgeous! I managed to convince Stephen to join me for about a 3 mile ride, to you fitness buffs that's nothing, but to us it was a bit of a workout!

2) We went to the beach today and the weather and the company was pretty Fantastic! I love living in paradise and wish this weather would stay all year round!

3) I'm feeling pretty accomplished for finally finishing our wedding registries last night! I also managed to narrow down the songs for our soloist to sing, and looked at bridesmaids shoes. I'll be feeling even more accomplished when I get around to all the homework projects I had intended to finish this week while I was on spring break!!

 4) My very  thoughtful  man took out the trash yesterday without me asking! He also took our doggy to the bluffs for some exercise.. I think it wore them both out!

 5) Watching The Blind Side with my love, and I just adore Sandra Bullock! She's a brilliant  actress!

 I know that it's been a while since I posted a real blog with some insightful thoughts, but i'm on my way out to enjoy this weather with my pup on a walk and then i'm hitting the gym! Dinner tonight with my whole family, so when I get back it will be blogging time! Until then... Happy Thursday!!

My Thursday will be a little crazy tomorrow with classes, internship, and actually working tomorrow night. Thanks to the wonderful Nicole at Flip Flops and Combat Boots, I got a jump start on my Thrusday post! Head over to her great blog and read/link up!

1) Yesterday was wonderful! I babysat for a friend, got my baby time in, and enjoyed a Peaceful quiet day around the house with my wonderful fiance!

2) I feel loved all day, everyday. My fiance and family are the best! Whether it's my sweet man taking the dog out so I can have a few more minutes to get ready, telling my I'm "beautiful", or just doing something he finds completely boring just because he knows I want his company. My mom calling to check on me, my dad inviting us for dinner, or friends just texting to say they "miss me" all made my week feel extra lovely!

3) This week we picked out Stephen's wedding bands which I think is completely Awesome!!! Also, thanks to my wonderful mom and sweet cousin, Mandy, all our wedding invitations are addressed and ready to be sent out!! Only 72 more days!! :)

4) I'm so Lucky to be almost done with school! Today is the last day of class and then I'm on Spring Break! After Spring Break just 5 more weeks til exams and 6 until graduation! Time to concentrate, get focused, and get ready to enter the real world!! Bring it on...

5) Next time that it rains all day and I go to take Natty out for the last time at night, I will be smart and wear tennis shoes instead of flip flops and pay closer attention so I don't end up sliding 5 feet in the mud and needing another shower!! Love my sweet boy, but he is too strong for me sometimes!
